MULTIPURPOSE CART – UTRECHT

USES

A wheeled cart designed as an auxiliary cart, bookshelf, or decorative shelving unit for a home, hotel, or office. Since it is intended to be viewed from all sides, it can also be used perpendicularly as a room divider.

It is easy to move thanks to its 4 wheels—two made of steel with an industrial look and the other two embedded in the other two support points of the cart.

ORIGIN

This piece is inspired by the shapes of the Schröder House by Gerrit Rietveld from the 20th century, and also by the furniture designed for that house. Based on this study, this piece is designed within the ideal framework of golden proportions.

The cart can be made from either light or dark solid wood.
